Now that I have talked to you guys about one of the breweries I have to talk to you about all of the other ones that are a must visit in boise. There are 7 breweries that I recommend for any craft beer lover to go to during their visit.

Of course I’m going to recommend this week’s brewery of the week White Dog Brewing however I’ll let you guys read this week’s brewery of the week blog post to learn more about their history and their beer. Another reason why White Dog is definetly worth a visit is because of it’s location. White Dog is located right in Downtown Boise so if you are staying in the downtown area you can definietly walk to it. Also they have a permanent food truck called Smoke & Thyme that has some of the best food I have ever had, it is so good you wouldn’t believe it came out of a food truck. They offer a varied quisine from juicy burgers to a mexican thanksgiving meal (it is called the comafried chimichanga). Also the hallway where the bathrooms are connects to a cocktail bar called Gas Lantern so if you want a nice cocktail or glass of wine you can head over there afterwards.

Lost Grove Brewing

Find your lost grove at this brewery also conveniently located in downtown just a couple blocks from the university. You will love this brewery especially if you are an IPA lover like me. Probably their most famous brews are the First Sight IPA, Milk Milk Lemonade Stout, and Teddy Bear Picnic Golden Ale. Lost Grove also believes in sustainable practices and using their brand to do good in the community. There are also two restaurants on either side of it called The Shed and Madre that are definitely worth trying.

Boise Brewing

Also conveniently located in downtown just a couple blocks from White Dog is Boise Brewing. Boise Brewing is a community supported brewery which means anyone that has a stock in their brewery owns it. If you are one of the owners you get your own mug as well as various other benefits. They also have won gold medals at Great American Beer Fest at least the past two years for their Black Cliffs Stout and other beers they are known for are their Hip Check IPA, Syringa Pale Ale, Better Hazy Than Never, Broad Street Blonde, and Snowboarder Porter.

Woodland Empire Ale Craft

Some of their most famous beers are The Big Sticky Red IPA, City of Trees IPA, and Moondog Amber. They are also next to a beer bar called Prefunk that you can also visit.
