We’re back at it again in the City of Trees. Being back in the birthplace of Hoppy Travels & Cider Sightings is nothing short of amazing. When my plane landed at 11:15 PM on Tuesday April 27th I was smiling ear to ear and honestly it took every fiber of my being to not squeel on the plane and totally embarass myself.

Many of you have asked me what it has been like moving back to Boise. I came back and I felt at home for the first time in awhile. For those of you who don’t know I moved around a lot so whenever people ask where I’m from it was difficult to answer. Even though I can’t say where I’m from I know where I feel at home and that is in Boise, Idaho.

Now some of you might be asking why did you decide to move back? Well besides taking a job as a beer and wine associate at the Boise Co-Op, I decided to move back because in my gut and my heart I knew Boise was home and I almost always follow my gut when making decisions. I knew my gut was right as soon as I put in my two weeks at my jobs in Phoenix.

My first day in Boise I did go to work but that night I drank the Idahome IPA from Sawtooth Brewing. Drinking that was perfect because it made me feel even more at home. Honestly I could go on and on about my feelings about moving back home but it would be repetitive. Cheers to being back in the City of Trees and until next time Hoppy Travels!
