Hey hoppy travelers and cider sighters! I’m Taylor and here is my story:
So I am not like some other people where I stayed in the same place my entire life in fact I was very much the opposite. In November of 1994 I was born in Tampa, Florida. I mainly stayed in the Tampa area until I was 11 years old. We moved from Tampa to Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2006 because I was diagnosed with ADD and my parents wanted me to go to better schools than the ones I was in. However we only stayed in North Carolina for my middle school years. In August of 2009 we moved to Phoenix, Arizona because my dad’s job then moved us out there. Now before you ask no I am not a military brat just a gypsy. After high school I moved out of the house and moved to Laramie, Wyoming to go to college at the University of Wyoming. Go Pokes! I ended up getting my bachelor’s degree in Geography from UW. After college I did what any college graduate does…started applying for jobs in my field. Two and a half months after I graduated I got a job as a GIS Technician for Apple which required me to move to Sunnyvale, California in Silicon Valley. After a month of being there I ended up getting fired and was forced to move back in with my parents in Phoenix. In October 2017 I ended up getting a job as a Site Acquisition Agent for Powder River Development in Eagle, Idaho just outside of Boise. I ended up getting laid off from that job and multiple other jobs.
So why am I here writing this blog and making videos on YouTube? Well first I’m passionate about travel and I also happen to be very passionate about the craft beer industry as well as small business. I also realized that I really do not want to do the 9-5 grind and work for vacation days. I also want to bring the world together through good beer and cider and travel. “To move, to breathe, to fly, to float, to gain all while you give, to roam the roads of lands remote, to travel is to live.”-Hans Christian Anderson
