If there is one word to describe Two Brothers Brewing’s mission statement it is passion. The brothers of the Isbell family, Jason and Jim, discovered this passion for great beer when they were traveling all over the world. So afterwords they started Two Brothers.

This passion-project has expanded over the past 20 years and has spanned over a dozen states. Even though they have grown a lot they still have not lost sight of what they started this brewery for. Which is “brewing with our beliefs, roasting with no regrets and creating an atmosphere where friends and family come first (Two Brothers Brewing).”

They stay so true to this belief that they will maintain their higher standards even if it means lowering their production. Now I don’t know about you guys but that screams passion to me. They also won’t sell to a big corporation which is refreshing. This they call “Craft with Conscience” which has been passed down through the family. Their original fermentors were passed down from their grandfather who was a dairy farmer and they were originally bulk milk tanks. Now they have a 40,000 square foot space with a 3,000 barrels worth of space for fermentation and a 50 barrel system. They always find ways to to support their community and conserve energy.

Now that you guys know a little background lets get into the beer:

This 7% brew has a lot of citrus and mango notes but has a nice maltiness to balance out the bitterness.

This German Hefeweizen coming in at 4.9% ABV has a glowing orange haze with tastes of banana, clove, and just a little bit of cinnamon. Perfect with a sushi or any seafood dinner.

Just like the name portrays, Love of Hops is a celebration of unfilitered profiles. You will get very big notes of citrus, apricot, and passion fruit in this 5.9% brew.

If you guys are in the phoenix area and want to try these brews come to Janey’s in Cave Creek this week at 7 PM. Until next time Hoppy Travels!
